Regrettably, a more familiar scenario than we would think when associated with education.

Thank you, Jenni. I think behind it all was a political imperative driven by ambitions of certain individuals either making their career marks or seeking gongs. I don't believe any of the senior management of the Council gave a moment's thought to the interests of students or UK education generally. Today a peacock, tomorrow a feather duster.
